2026 Calendar 

In 2026, our training terms will align with school terms.

Please note: In-person enrolments are no longer accepted.
All enrolments must be completed online via this website.

Training Venues

• Terms 1 & 4: KDTC Grounds, Park Avenue
• Terms 2 & 3: TBC for 2026

2026 Term Dates

Term 1: 3 February – 31 March (9 weeks)
Online registrations open 3–16 January (all classes)

Term 2: 28 April – 23 June (9 weeks)
Online registrations open 28 March - 10 April (all classes)

Term 3: 21 July – 15 September (9 weeks)
Online registrations open TBC (all classes)

Term 4: 13 October – 8 December (9 weeks)
Online registrations open TBC (all classes)

Enrolment Info

• Enrolments are accepted online only and are processed per term.
• Acceptance of enrolment is at the sole discretion of Kapiti Dog Training Club Inc. (KDTC).
• Some classes have pre-requisites that must be met before enrolling in the next level. Please check course descriptions carefully.

Once your enrolment is accepted, you will receive an email confirmation and invoice. If a class is already full, you may join the waiting list via the link provided. If a place becomes available, or if sufficient interest is received, KDTC may offer additional classes.
Please note: the 7.30pm Pups / New Entrants class is dependent on handler numbers and will be confirmed closer to the start of term.

Course Payment

Payment is made via internet banking.

Bank transfers must be received by the invoice due date. Failure to make payment by this date may result in your registration being cancelled without further communication, and your place may be offered to another person on the waiting list.
Late payments will not be accepted unless prior notification has been given to KDTC.

Payment of term fees confirms your place in the class once enrolment has been accepted.

Attendance & Cancellation Policy.

If you are unable to attend the course for any reason, notification must be provided as soon as possible via:

• Cancellations received 7 days or more prior to the start of the course will be refunded, less a $10 administration fee.
• Cancellations received within 7 days of the course start date will only be refunded if the place can be refilled; otherwise, no refund or transfer will be given.

The KDTC Committee may consider written applications for a full or partial refund in exceptional circumstances, at its sole discretion.
